About me:

Khristy is a College Admissions Advisor for Empowerly, an ed-tech startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Khristy holds a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University, where she worked in the federal work-study department in the admissions office. She received a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Relay GSE and has over seven years of experience working with students and families as a middle school teacher, dean of students, and college counselor. Because of own experiences as a first generation immigrant, she is deeply committed to increasing access for all students, regardless of where they are from.
